About
What is CSFOLIO
CSFOLIO is a trade tracker for CS2 skins, not a snapshot of your Steam inventory. You log BUY and SELL trades, and CSFOLIO calculates average cost basis, realized and unrealized profit and loss (PnL), and ROI for every position and for the whole portfolio. Unlike inventory checkers that just price your current items at the market rate, CSFOLIO keeps real investment accounting — you see exactly how much you have actually made or lost on closed trades, not just the paper value of what is sitting in your inventory.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How is CSFOLIO different from a Steam inventory checker?
An inventory checker just prices your current items at the market rate. CSFOLIO is a BUY/SELL trade log: it tracks the price you paid and sold for on every position and calculates real profit, not just today's inventory value.
What is average cost basis?
It's the average price you paid for units of the same item, recalculated automatically across all your trades. CSFOLIO updates it on every new buy, so you see the real cost of a position instead of just the last trade price.
What's the difference between realized and unrealized PnL?
Realized PnL is profit from trades you've already closed (sold). Unrealized PnL is paper profit on positions still in your portfolio, based on the current market price. CSFOLIO shows both separately.
Does CSFOLIO connect to my Steam inventory?
No. CSFOLIO doesn't scan or request access to your Steam inventory — your portfolio is built only from trades you enter manually or import. That's a deliberately different approach from inventory checkers.
Can I set price alerts so I don't miss the moment to sell?
Yes, CSFOLIO supports price alerts per item — you get notified once the price crosses your target.
Which marketplaces does CSFOLIO pull prices from?
Prices are aggregated from 7 marketplaces: Steam Market, Skinport, LIS-SKINS, DMarket, Waxpeer, White.market, and ShadowPay.
